ESCOLA CONCERTADA per la Generalitat de Catalunya
The Catalan Society of Mathematics has awarded 6 secondary school students a recognition for their outstanding participation in the "Cangur" tests. This distinction is given to those who are in the top 1 percent of scores in the Cangur test throughout Catalonia.
Xaloc has been present for many years in the Cangur tests, a competition aimed at bringing mathematics closer to younger students. The reach of this activity is international, with the participation of more than 60 countries. In Catalonia, over 25,000 students take part in these tests.
This will enable the school to generate its own electricity, significantly reducing its dependence on conventional energy sources and decreasing greenhouse gas emissions
The ceremony was presided over by the Auxiliary Bishop of Barcelona, Xavier Vilanova.
The primary school students carried out the traditional May pilgrimage
