The library serves as a meeting point between the school and families: literary and scientific activities are carried out thanks to the commitment of parents and grandparents

This week, the 4th grade of Primary students have enjoyed a visit from Dr. Nicsa, a parent of one of the students, who conducted a workshop on basic CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and the Heimlich maneuver.

CPR is an emergency procedure to save lives performed when someone has stopped breathing or their heart has stopped beating. This can occur after a medical emergency such as an electric shock, heart attack, or drowning.

On the other hand, the Heimlich maneuver is a first aid procedure used when a person is choking. It is a maneuver that can even be performed on oneself if alone and without assistance.

This activity is part of the Transdisciplinary Inquiry Unit: "Who We Are: Knowing and Taking Care of Our Bodies."
