School is the place for the development of all the student's intelligences; therefore, extracurricular activities at Xaloc offer music classes from the first year of Primary school
Musical intelligence was defined by Howard Gardner in his theory of multiple intelligences as the capacity to appreciate, transform, and express musical forms, in addition to sensitivity, rhythm, pitch, and timbre. To ensure that students receive a musical education, Xaloc, in collaboration with Haro Music Studies, offers an introduction to music in its extracurricular program.
This offer is aimed at students in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades of Primary school. For the youngest students, Haro provides classes in rhythm and musical language, where students recognize and enjoy the musical characteristics of various percussion instruments, among others.
For 2nd and 3rd graders, classes can be individual or in small groups, with a maximum of 2 students, and they begin working with an instrument, choosing from the piano, guitar, violin, or clarinet. Classes are 30 minutes long, a perfect time to enjoy and introduce music from a young age.
Haro Music Studies offers a diverse, flexible, and age-appropriate musical education with the goal of bringing music to everyone with dedication, professionalism, and enthusiasm.
