Last Friday, November 8th, we experienced a day full of emotions and reunions, as we celebrated a gathering dedicated to those who, over the years, have been a fundamental part of our educational community: former teachers and staff of Xaloc.
The day began with an emotional welcome speech by the director, who expressed his gratitude to each of the attendees for their dedication and effort over the years. His words, full of gratitude and recognition, evoked the joint work that allowed the construction of Xaloc's history and identity, highlighting the efforts of those who contributed to shaping what we are today.
After the speech, the attendees toured the facilities, observing the improvements and transformations that demonstrate the school's growth in the face of current challenges, without straying from the values that have always guided it. It was a special moment to see how, despite the changes, the spirit of the educational community remains intact.
The day continued with a lunch where attendees shared heartfelt anecdotes and memories of their years of service at the school. At the end of the event, each attendee was given a gift as a token of appreciation and recognition, a symbolic gesture reflecting the institution's sincere gratitude for each one of their invaluable contributions.
"For me, it is the reason for its existence. It is the founder's will to serve others". These profound words by Manolo Rosillo remind us of the very essence of Xaloc. We are not just a place of learning, but a space that serves, that cultivates solidarity, and that follows the founder’s will, always seeking the well-being of others. This philosophy continues to guide our educational community today.
We want to express our sincere gratitude to all those who participated in this memorable day. Their dedication and effort over the years have left an indelible mark that continues to live on in every corner of Xaloc, inspiring both present and future generations.
