After months of preparation through Inquiry Units, the students chose a topic they were passionate about regarding how to make the world a better place: the result was a success

One of the keys of the International Baccalaureate (IB) in the PYP is the Exhibition: a group research project that offers 6th grade Primary students, who are finishing the PYP stage, the opportunity to apply and synthesize the knowledge, skills, and conceptual understanding they have acquired throughout the program.

This year, the themes revolved around the importance of being active agents of change: the world needs us to be involved in its improvement and, furthermore, we must be aware that all our actions have consequences, and it is good to work so that these actions guide us in the pursuit of the common good.

For the inquiry and preparation of the Exhibition, the students were mentored by various PYP and MYP teachers, thus acquiring the fundamental skills to research, select, synthesize, and narrate the information they presented to teachers, parents, and students at the end of the school year.

It has been quite a challenge for them to express their concerns and to debut in oral presentation in front of such a wide audience.

Now, on to MYP!
