This Thursday, April 24th, we joyfully celebrated the awards ceremony of the 39th Xaloc Literary Contest, under the theme “Glimpses of Hope: Young Voices for the Future.” The assembly hall was filled with students, families, and members of the educational community, all gathered to enjoy an evening rich in emotion, creativity, and literary commitment.
The event featured the special presence of Montserrat Nebrera, jurist, professor, and renowned communicator, who delivered an inspiring speech about the power of words and the importance of free expression among young people.
Winners and finalists recited excerpts from their works, offering moments of profound poetic beauty and critical insight into the world around us. The theme of this edition, centered on hope and visions of the future, served as a guiding thread for texts full of sensitivity and strength.
The evening concluded with a small reception, providing an opportunity to share impressions and congratulate participants in a warm and festive atmosphere.
Once again, Xaloc’s Literary Contest proves to be a meaningful platform for giving voice to new generations and nurturing a passion for reading and writing.
We celebrated a very special Sant Jordi, marked by our collaboration with Alpi, the promotion of reading, and solidarity with Uganda.
On April 11th, we experienced an unforgettable day to celebrate our 60th anniversary, with great family participation and a shared goal: making the solidarity trip to Uganda possible for our 2nd-year high school students.
The educator and writer analyzes current educational challenges, parenting difficulties, and the key role of the family in children's development in a deep and enriching talk.
The PAI 5 students stand out for their literary talent and their ability to convey deep and original ideas in this prestigious short story competition.
Students have enjoyed various educational outings that have complemented their learning in science, nature, and history.
Thanks to the collaboration of the entire educational community, this great project has been successfully funded and will endure for generations.
