Once again, Alpi and Xaloc kick off Projecte Col·laborem: who is the host this term?

27/11/2023

Throughout the school year, both the school and the association carry out activities to show what the daily work is like in each of the centers and to encourage the guest to help and learn, promoting respect, empathy, and solidarity

Projecte Col·laborem, designed for PAI4 students, is a program that accompanies school's students in their personal development. Its objectives are two: to learn about the world, who is around them, what they do, etc.; and also to serve people and society.

But what does the activity consist of? The program lasts the entire school year, and in the first term, Alpi has hosted PAI4 students to introduce them to the activities that take place and how people with intellectual disabilities work there, aiming to promote their social inclusion and personal development. And what have the students from Xaloc done at Alpi? They have collaborated in various manual tasks. Above all, they have participated in the production of the Nativity figurines that Alpi later sells. In the first days, they helped cut out the patterns of the figures. They also learned about the occupational center where Alpi offers employment contracts to those who shape and paint ceramics. The association will be at the school on the day of the Christmas Theater Play and will put these figurines up for sale. Don't miss it!

In the second quarter, Alpi will come to the school, and it will be the students who show them how the center works, what happens on a daily basis, and design activities with them.

We look forward to welcoming you!
