After years of catechesis, talks, catechetical masses, and meetings, the students of Xaloc have received the Sacrament of Confirmation, and with their "yes" they strengthen the baptismal bond that unites them to the Church
Given the Christian character of the school, students and their families have the opportunity to receive the Sacraments of Initiation accompanied by the school’s priests. In the 3rd grade of Primary School, those who wish to do so prepare to receive their First Communion, and in PAI3, they receive Confirmation if they want to consolidate their faith with the grace of the Holy Spirit.
From Xaloc, we would like to extend special thanks to Auxiliary Bishop Monsignor Vilanova for presiding over the Holy Mass and the Confirmation ceremony. His dedication has been reflected not only in the celebration of the Sacrament but also in his kindness when visiting the school and the students, spending a pleasant time in conversation with them. Besides the families, tutors, catechists, priests, and Religion teachers accompanied the students on such a special and important day in their faith.
But the dedication does not end here: the school also accompanies and supports those who wish to be baptized, as happened a few months ago with our student Carlos R., from the 1st year of Baccalaureate: his classmates celebrated with a snack in the courtyard to mark his entry into the Catholic Church. Likewise, mothers, fathers, and relatives find in Xaloc the place to strengthen their faith and tighten their bonds with Christ.
The school's Chaplaincy service is not just for students but a safe place for families, teachers, non-teaching staff, friends, and alumni of the school, who know they are part of a Christian community where they can grow and be strengthened. For this reason, we also hold monthly prayer meetings for parents and alumni.
The apostolic mission of the school is continuous and is part of the school's spirit, which is not contrary to academic formation, as our goal is always to form committed and happy people.
