Each Primary School class took a field trip designed for their school stage, educational needs, and the development of social skills, so they could make the most of it with teachers and classmates
It's important for students to learn in new environments, outside the classrooms, and to interact with their friends in different contexts. On the part of the teaching staff, it is essential to observe how the children behave outside common spaces.
Therefore, at Xaloc, we schedule a quarterly excursion (in addition to other outings throughout the school year) to create a relaxed and fun space where they can learn and get to know each other better.
This quarter, the 1st-grade students enjoyed the Exhibition Eat, Act, Impact and explored different materials and foods. The 2nd-grade students had a fantastic day at Aventura Park in Calafell, overcoming obstacle courses and jumping on various attractions. The students of the Second Cycle of Primary School, 3rd and 4th grade, visited the CRAM (Marine Animal Recovery Center) and Catalonia in Miniature, respectively. At this stage, the children are very interested in subjects about the world around us, history, biology. And these two outings have been a success.
On their part, the 5th-grade students took a guided tour of Colonia Güell, learning from the most important reference of modernism in Catalonia, Gaudí. Finally, the 6th-grade students visited the Museum of Science and Technology in Terrassa.
A day not to forget!
