19/06/2023

This will enable the school to generate its own electricity, significantly reducing its dependence on conventional energy sources and decreasing greenhouse gas emissions

In an effort to promote sustainability and reduce its environmental impact, Xaloc school proudly announces the recent installation of 285 photovoltaic panels on the roof of the sports center. This installation has a total power capacity of 125.4 kW and represents a significant advancement in clean and renewable energy generation.

This photovoltaic solar energy system will enable the school to generate its own electricity, significantly reducing its dependence on conventional energy sources and decreasing greenhouse gas emissions. This will reduce the school's carbon footprint, contributing to the fight against climate change.

The electricity produced by the photovoltaic panels will be used to power the school facilities, reducing operational costs and allowing the allocation of those resources to other important aspects of student education.

The installation of these photovoltaic panels is just the beginning of the school's efforts to become an even more sustainable institution. In the future, more ecological projects are expected to be implemented to promote the use of renewable energy and foster environmental education among students.
