This week, Xaloc's teaching staff participated in an intensive training programme as part of Supporting the Change, an initiative promoted by Become, with the aim of further strengthening their educational practice and continuing to provide students with a well-rounded, high-quality education.
Over the course of three days, Xaloc was one of the schools hosting the programme, alongside other schools such as Viaró and Pineda. The training brought together teachers and school leaders to reflect on today's educational challenges and share strategies for fostering educational leadership, character development and a strong school culture.
The programme combined keynote sessions, practical workshops and collaborative working groups, giving participants the opportunity to exchange experiences and explore practical tools that can be applied in the classroom. It places particular emphasis on the role of teachers as agents of change and on the importance of creating learning environments that support each student's academic, personal and human development.
Taking part in initiatives such as this reflects Xaloc's commitment to the continuous professional development of its teaching staff and to the ongoing improvement of its educational project. Hosting this kind of international training also strengthens collaboration between schools that share the same vision: placing the person at the heart of education and continuing to move towards an increasingly innovative and transformative approach to teaching and learning.
An overall average above the Catalonia average and outstanding results in Mathematics confirm the students' excellent academic preparation.
Xaloc’s family reading club is already preparing a new year filled with books, conversations, and shared experiences.
A total of 45 students from 3rd to 6th grade joined this collective musical experience, performing the new cantata created by Jordi Cornudella and Tina Vallès.
Avantis, Pineda and Xaloc celebrate the end of the school year with a fun-filled day of activities for students and families.
Four students from Xaloc and four students from Pineda took part as backing vocalists during the performance of Superhéroes at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys.
Families had the opportunity to discover the projects developed by students as the culmination of the Middle Years Programme
